So I was exploring the new Google News Timeline, which is really a blast. You go here >, and you see the news laid out in a grid, like a calendar. The cool thing is, the calendar goes back in time. So, if you wanted to catch up on all the news of the day, from say July 21, 1969, you can. (The St. Pete Times and several other papers have fully scanned in archives of their papers available through the service…hey, speaking of the St. Pete Times …) Lots of fun to play around with.
